Groups

Step back a hundred years or more and enter the magical world of automatic music. In the era before microphones, an amazing range of instruments was invented to bring the works of the great composers into homes, great and small, and the cafes of the day.

A group visit to the museum is centered around live presentations of instruments including delicate musical boxes, reproducing pianos, organs and self-playing violins. You will be fascinated by the intricate workings and amazing sound of an orchestrion that recreates the sound of a concert orchestra.

No tour is ever the same, the questions you ask, the stories you laugh at and the memories that you bring to the event creates a fresh experience every time. Our tour guides are highly experienced and will enjoy taking your group on an exciting journey.

Group bookings are accepted on any day of the week and require a minimum of 20 people. Cost per person is £8.50, including tea/coffee and biscuits. The Museum is also able to provide light refreshments for an additional fee. Please allow 90 minutes to 2 hours for your visit.
