The Musical Museum's Mighty Wurlitzer was made in the USA in 1929 for a private house in Chicago. In 1931 it was shipped to the UK and installed in the Regal Theatre in Kingston-upon-Thames where it was played by many famous organists. It became part of the Musical museum’s collection in 1972. Recently, it has undergone a full restoration by the Museum’s volunteers and has been played in concert by leading organists including Nigel Ogden, Phil Kelsall and Richard Hills.
On other dates, The Mighty Wurlitzer is available for hire at £30.00 per hour. A perfect gift for the organ enthusiast.
