Perforated paper or card containing music for an automatic instrument scored at intervals so that it can be concertina-folded to resemble a book. By comparison with a paper roll, it has the advantage that it does not need to be re-rolled after playing, merely turned over ready to play again. On the other hand, being made of heavier gauge material, it is more bulky than a paper roll of equivalent playing time.
