Polyphon Musikwerke was a German business founded by Gustave Brachhausen and Paul Riessner in 1887 in Wahren, Leipzig whose most notable product was a musical box playing disk media to activate tuned steel comb or combs. These were sold in competition with the products of the Symphonion company in which they had previously been partners.
The business also had a record label, "German Polyphon Musikwerke AG" from 1908.
Their USA offshoot marketed similar musical boxes under the trade name "Regina".
